The Faces of Education Episode 6
Meet Jennifer Kilroy

Meet the awesome educators at Hudson! We'll be featuring 1 teacher a day with our fast-five questions. If you see them in the hall, say hi. Now you know a little more about each other!
What do you teach/do at Hudson?
I teach 9th grade Special Education in Humanities (English/Social Studies). I also am the coach of the Cheering Team!
Why education?
I decided to be a teacher based on my love of studying History and hope to change the lives of students. The main reason I became a special education teacher is because of one of my former students I worked with as his para for two years. He completely changed my life and made me realize that anyone, no matter what stands in their way can be successful in school and reach their goals.
Why Hudson?
I've never felt more welcome at a school than I did when I came to Hudson. Everyday I come to work excited to learn new things not only from my coworkers and administration, but from our students also. I love that I leave work everyday with a smile on my face!
Impressions of the staff?
Our staff at Hudson are AWESOME to say the least. I feel that the faculty and staff at Hudson truly care about how you are as both a teacher and a person and that adds to what makes Hudson an awesome school and place to work!
Your hopes for this year?
My hopes for this year is that every student, no matter what his/her struggles are, are able to prove to themselves that they are worthy of all that they hope, aspire, and dream to be!
