The Faces of Education Episode 7

Meet the awesome educators at Hudson! We'll be featuring 1 teacher a day with our fast-five questions. If you see them in the hall, say hi. Now you know a little more about each other!

Meet Rusty Rigby

What do you teach/do at Hudson?

I teach Algebra 2/Trig to the 11th graders.

Why education?

I had many positive role models in high school that made a huge difference in my life. I always knew that I wanted to work with youth, give back, and be a positive role model.

Why Hudson?

When I interviewed at Hudson, I knew it would be a good fit. The positive energy and good vibes you feel from this school is very apparent.

Impressions of the staff?

So far, so good. A welcoming and friendly staff!

Hope for the year?

My hope for the year is my hope for every year that I teach - that my students will, if not learn to love math, at least gain an appreciation of math and the importance of building their problem solving skills.
