The Faces of Education Episode 8
Meet the awesome educators at Hudson! We'll be featuring 1 teacher a day with our fast-five questions. If you see them in the hall, say hi. Now you know a little more about each other!
Meet Daralee Vazquez

What do you teach/do at Hudson?
I teach Spanish and Latin American History.
Why education?
Education was and is my tool for full liberation. It's a form of activism. A way to give back to my community. I'm certain every youth has a vision and school is the space where this is explored and practiced.
Why Hudson?
Hudson is a place where innovation and constant reinvention is required in order to keep up with the youth. A place where education and the use of technology are required to become well skilled citizens. It's an amazing feeling when a veteran teacher is provided the tools to actually keep up with the Millennials!
Impressions of the Hudson staff? Hudson Staff can hold it down when it comes to collaboration. I consider each and everyone of us a walking library full of resources that's often shared throughout the school year.
Hopes for the year?
I hope for a year full of laughter and happiness!
