Juniors Get A Little 1890— Proust Style

The StoryCorps elective has been working on self-discovery through the Proust Questionnaire. It's a list of questions that French Writer Marcel Proust answered in his friend's diary when he was a teenager. One section of Juniors answered the same 36 questions and then chose 5 of their most telling answers — the ones they felt said the most about them — to write on parchment with calligraphy pens just like Proust did. Their work will be on display in the hallways. We had a lot of fun!

"Miss, this must have taken forever to write like this!"

"They wrote books like this? Their hands must have been cramping."

"Were their hands covered in ink?"
