At the end of the school year I shared something during the school's Flip
ped Day Teacher Talent Show and then I asked students, colleagues and those that cared about NYC youth in the Foster Care system to volunteer to help make their lives just an ounce easier.
Nearly 30 students (and now grads) stepped up to volunteer. But the first step is actually raising money to buy the materials (dufflebags for kids in foster care filled with necessities and toys). So my hope is that we can raise enough money for each of my 30 volunteers to have at least one bag to put together!).
