Today's Superintendent Visit

Good Afternoon All,

Just wanted to let you all know that Superintendent Bradbury, and Deputy Superintendent Orlen, had great things to say about our ongoing work here at Hudson. They were impressed with the progress we have made in collaboratively developing our lesson plan template and the work you have done around rethinking learning objectives to reflect higher-order thinking.

During our classroom visits we were all impressed by the ways in which our students were able to articulate the bigger picture around their learning. They were excited and focused.

Of course, as a learning community, we have next steps, which is a part of improving and growing. When we get back from break we will continue to work on our lesson planning during professional learning, while also using a lens to consider how our lessons and units align to grade level content standards. That will be our focus for the remainder of the schoolyear. Deep work…hard work….important work…and I can’t think of a better team of people to do this work with.

But for today I just want to say thank you for your hard work, your willingness and your talent. Thank you for caring about our students and our school. Thank you for always working from a place of integrity and purpose. Thank you for being you. Thank you for being awesome.

Happy Friday!

Best,

Ms. Amling
