The Feminist Press is proud to present its fifth annual STEMinism (STEM+feminism) conference. NYC students can meet with peers, academics, and experienced professionals to discuss the importance of STEM and how to foster diversity in those fields. Participants will learn about poisonous snails from Dr. Mandë Holford and hear about her journey as a chemical biologist. The event will be held from 8:30am-1:30pm at Tishman Auditorium at The New School, 63 5th Avenue, New York, NY 10003. The event is free and large student groups.
