Hudson's #GetOutThere Program has launched its 2016-2017 program! For those of you who are new, my name is Jennifer Gunn and I run the ELO program here at Hudson in room 138. I'm excited to start out the year offering a big variety of fall internships for Hudson students!
HOW IT WORKS:
Internships are sent out to students and staff, and flyers are available in room 138 or outside 138 on the bulletin board. Opportunities are also posted on www.hudsonhs.com by clicking on the #GetOutThere button. Occasionally, flyers will be placed in your mailboxes to share with your Advisories. We encourage ALL Hudson students to do at least one extended learning opportunity each year. Students can apply/sign up in room 138.
Throughout the year, #GetOutThere also offers Real World Workshops, where professionals join us for thematic career sessions. And finally, we also host periodic skills workshops and our awesome spin on career day, called Future Day!
In other news, we are proud to announce that in Cycle 2, we will offer Credit Bearing Internships at Hudson! More to come on that in the coming weeks.
LET'S DO THIS!
Last year, we had over 200 students participate in #GetOutThere programs. This year, we hope to grow quickly! Spread the word! If you know of any ELO programs, please share with me! You email me, put stuff in my mailbox or come on by!
